Mortgage Update: January 19
For today's update, we wanted to share more about e-notes.
An e-note is an electronically signed note at the time of closing. Most lenders do not allow this. Here at John Adams and Total Home Lending, we do! We offer a full remote online notary closing, commonly referred to as a RON closing or a hybrid e-note closing.
With the hybrid option, most of your documents (including the note) are signed electronically and some of the documents are signed in-person at the closing with wet signatures. We offer both options to give convenience and options to Realtors and homebuyers. It's a great opportunity for buyers to utilize, whether it's a power of attorney or they're going to be out of state at the time of closing. If you're interested in learning more about these closing options, please ask our team.
Now, onto a quick check-in with the market. The market continues to improve and add buying power to home buyers. Buyers, make sure you're preparing yourself for your experience ahead! Realtors, we can help your clients get prepared and pre-approved for the home of their dreams, so when it comes on the market they are ready to react.
